Job Description:

Position Summary:

This position oversees large-scale sales at a national level, coordinating sales strategies and ensuring alignment with overall business objectives. Their leadership and guidance of the sales team supports consistent sales performance and market presence to achieve revenue goals. This includes building long-term relationships with key clients, as well as building new clients. This role is base pay of $90,000 plus incentive, with some incentive guaranteed for first three months.

Responsibilities:

· Set revenue goals. Measure firm performance and achievement of stated goals.

· Function as a key expert/resource to the field sales team, customers, and non-customers.

· Study and stay informed on products, technologies, clinical studies, competitive activity, and other general information of interest to company or to customers. Apply this knowledge to your strategies and tactics.

· Build and maintain relationships with existing clients to drive repeat business. Identify, research, and develop new partnership prospects. Develop and qualify opportunities within the healthcare enterprise. Create and execute compelling presentations to engage new potential partners.

· Understand and communicate the full sales cycle, from building awareness and generating leads to creating relationships and closing deals.

· Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of all company policies and procedures, including our strong ethical culture. Demonstrate the ability to effectively reflect this culture.

· Develop training programs for the sales representatives. Lead process improvements. Develop sales plans and incentives. Assist with designing the Team’s compensation plan.

· Plan promotional activities, and participate in national and local trade shows and special events.

· Support established educational programs when territory customers are attending. Utilize knowledge from the existing team to assist with communication.

· Report to the management about any product issues, loss or potential loss of key customers, or competitive sales strategies that negatively or positively affect sales.

· Develop and maintain customer files and records in order to have complete up-to-date customer information, which can be shared amongst the company.

· Establish personal networks across all channels and regions. Establish and maintain a travel schedule that allows consistent contact with existing and potential customers.

· Additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree or related experience.

· 3-5 years of demonstrated achievement-oriented sales experience within the optical field.

· Ability to understand and meet the needs of each customer, as well as the ability to digest, comprehend, and verbalize highly technical product and clinical information related to the company and industry products.

· Experience in leading a team by using active listening, interpreting, cooperation, and flexibility.

· Excellent interpersonal skills, as well as excellent sales and marketing abilities.

· Clear understanding of insurance and payment options.

· Ability to make critical decisions with a customer/client mindset, both independently and through management. Good troubleshooting skills.

· Reliable and honest, with the ability to communicate both verbally and in writing with co-workers, vendors, and customers in a clear concise manner.

· Computer experience, including Microsoft Office and Microsoft Teams.

· Ability to travel within assigned territory; valid driver’s license and clean record.
