About the Role
We are seeking experienced, communicative, and compassionate Licensed Therapist/Counselor (LPC, LMFT, LAC, LCSW) to join our team in our Layton clinic. This is a hybrid role working remotely and in office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with individuals, couples, families, and groups to address various mental health issues
- Conduct assessments and psychotherapeutic tests, diagnosing emotional issues, creating treatment plans, providing counseling both individually and in group settings
- Collaborate with other licensed providers at Cedar Psychiatry to create a team approach to helping patients
- Establish positive and trusting relationships with clients
- Implement various treatments and protocols to provide guidance and appropriately address client situations
- Continually assess client situations and provide the proper ongoing treatments
- Educate and involve family members or other loved ones in the treatment process when necessary
- Record and maintain adequate notes about client visits
- Maintain the strictest confidentiality of every client situation
Requirements
Required Qualifications
- Applying therapists must possess unrestricted license to practice in the State of Utah
- Meet all necessary state licensure requirements
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills with the ability to actively listen
- Solid relationship-building capabilities and a positive and compassionate attitude
- Willingness to stay updated on new treatments, protocols, and licensure requirements within the field
- Passion for advancing the therapy field
- Ability to effectively manage time and prioritize needs
